Updated · Kailing product selection notes
Choose pneumatic valves by first confirming the working medium, pressure, temperature, voltage, port size, action logic and installation environment. Then match solenoid valves for electrical switching, angle seat valves for higher-flow utility lines, and actuator valve packages for remote quarter-turn control.
Start with the application
A packaging machine, water system, process skid and OEM equipment module may all use pneumatic components, but the selection logic is different. Define the line function before comparing model names.
Confirm the control method
Use solenoid valves when a PLC or electrical signal switches air or fluid. Use pneumatic actuators when the buyer needs to automate a ball valve or butterfly valve. Use angle seat valves when higher-flow water, steam or cleaning lines need frequent cycling.
Prepare quote data
A faster RFQ normally includes product category, model or series, medium, pressure, voltage, port size, quantity, country and target delivery time.
Compare fluid switching with directional control
The 2W family switches a fluid line; 2WB adds stainless wetted-part options. A 4V200 valve routes compressed air to an actuator. Match the circuit function before comparing thread sizes or coil voltages.
Check model limits in the catalog
For 2W, compare the model's port, orifice, differential pressure, seal and flow curve. For KLJZF, also confirm connection, flow direction and pilot air. For an AT actuator package, provide valve torque, minimum air pressure and the required return position.
| Need | Common Kailing product |
|---|---|
| Electrical switching | Solenoid valves |
| Higher-flow water or steam line | Angle seat valves |
| Remote quarter-turn valve control | Pneumatic actuators with ball or butterfly valves |
| Machine linear motion | Pneumatic cylinders |
Can one valve series cover every medium?
No. Medium, pressure, temperature, seal and body material should be checked by series.
Is the catalog enough for final selection?
Catalogs are useful for shortlisting, but final selection should still confirm working conditions with sales.
