Stainless Steel Solenoid Valve Supplier: Evidence Checklist

Evaluate a stainless solenoid valve supplier using model data, drawings, material evidence, sample checks and written quotation terms for your application.

How to Identify a Reputable Stainless Steel Solenoid Valve Factory, Manufacturer & Supplier

Evaluate the proposed valve and supporting evidence together. Match the supplier identity, model code, drawing, wetted materials, operating limits and requested documents; agree sample checks and commercial terms for the specific configuration.

Verify the supplier and the proposed model

Start with the supplier's published company information and confirm that the quotation names the responsible business and the exact valve model. Kailing's Factory & Quality page provides a company-information starting point; the 2WB product page provides a model and catalog starting point. Neither substitutes for the configuration and document list in your quotation.

Ask which factory or entity will manufacture the quoted item and how the drawing, ordering code and sample will be identified. For a custom product, distinguish the standard baseline from each requested change.

Ask for evidence that matches the application

Buyer question Evidence to request Mismatch to resolve
What is being quoted? Model code and revision-controlled drawing A general family brochure without the proposed variant
What touches the fluid? Body, internal wetted-part and seal specification A stainless body claim without seal/internal-part details
What conditions were reviewed? Confirmed pressure, temperature, medium and flow A headline maximum copied across every model
What does a document cover? Applicable model, issuer, scope and validity A certificate for a different product or configuration
How will a sample be accepted? Agreed checks, conditions and acceptance criteria An unspecified “tested” claim

Keep certificate scope separate from marketing language

If a particular certificate, material report or target-market document is required, name it in the RFQ. Ask whether it is available for the exact valve and coil configuration and read the scope. A logo, generic certificate scan or document for another family is not evidence that every product has the same approval.

Similarly, do not infer food-contact suitability, chemical compatibility or special clean-service capability from the word stainless. Specify the actual fluid, concentration, temperature and cleaning process. The 2WB model selection checklist helps turn those conditions into a product review.

Agree useful sample checks

Select checks that relate to your application: drawing dimensions, connection fit, action sequence and agreed functional or leakage criteria under stated conditions. Ask which test records can be supplied and how the sample is identified. Test the accepted configuration in the intended system before using it as a repeat-order reference.

Do not assume a factory has a particular test method, cleanroom or traceability system without evidence. Ask what it actually uses for the quoted product and how a nonconforming result will be handled.

Compare quotations on a consistent basis

Compare the same model/configuration, quantity, documents, packing, delivery terms and sample acceptance requirements. Request MOQ, sample cost, tooling terms if relevant, production lead time and change-control arrangements in writing. A general article cannot promise those terms.

For development work, use the OEM customization checklist to separate labeling, installation and technical changes. Keep the approved drawing, sample record and quotation together so later substitutions or revisions can be reviewed against an agreed baseline.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • FAQ Does a certificate logo prove every valve is covered?
No. Check the document scope, model/configuration and validity against the item being quoted.
  • FAQ What should I ask for first?
Provide the application conditions and request the exact proposed model, drawing and wetted-material/seal specification.
  • FAQ Should MOQ or lead time be assumed from an online guide?
No. Confirm both in the quotation for the actual configuration and quantity.
