The 2WB family provides stainless steel electrical on/off fluid control. Start with the current product PDF and confirm the exact model, wetted materials and seal against your fluid, concentration and temperature. The series tables cover multiple variants; not every listed option applies to every model.
- 01 When to use 2WB instead of brass 2W
Use 2WB when stainless steel wetted parts and compatibility with pure water, weak acid, weak alkali or mildly corrosive media are required.

Confirm the medium and wetted materials first
A stainless body does not establish suitability for every chemical. Send the medium, concentration, temperature and cleaning conditions. Confirm the body grade and seal combination for the quoted ordering code.
Read the pressure and size data by model
Provide minimum and maximum inlet and outlet pressure, required flow and port standard. Use the exact model row and current product PDF; the broad family pressure and size ranges are not a universal rating. Ask for confirmation if the series table and selected PDF cover different variants.
Threaded or flanged installation
Confirm port size and thread standard for 2WB. For a 2WBF flanged installation, provide flange standard, dimensions, bolt pattern and operating pressure. Confirm the complete installation envelope before ordering.
Send these details for a 2WB quotation
Send fluid and concentration, operating and cleaning temperature, inlet/outlet pressure, flow, normally closed/open requirement, connection, voltage, seal requirement and quantity. Attach a drawing or existing valve code if a standard configuration does not meet your requirement.

Frequently Asked Questions
- FAQ What is the 2WB series solenoid valve?
The 2WB family is a stainless steel fluid solenoid valve range. Confirm the exact body material, seal, connection and operating limits from the selected model data and quotation. The 2WBF variant uses flanged connections. - FAQ What orifice sizes and port sizes are available?
Orifice sizes range from 4mm to 25mm (models 2WB040, 2WB050, 2WB160, 2WB200, 2WB250). Port sizes are available from 1/8" to 1" (threaded) in G (BSP) or NPT threads; the 2WBF version offers flanged connections. - FAQ What seal materials can I choose?
The catalog lists NBR, EPDM, FKM and silicone options. Confirm availability and compatibility for the exact medium, temperature and model; a seal option does not establish compatibility with every chemical. - FAQ What voltages are available?
AC: 24V, 110V, 220V, 380V (50/60Hz); DC: 12V, 24V, 36V, 110V, 220V. The square coil option (code S) provides IP65 protection. - FAQ NC or NO: which one do I need?
Normally closed and normally open describe the de-energized state. State the required sequence and confirm that the selected model supports it. Also define the required response to power loss. - FAQ What is the working pressure?
Confirm the range for the exact model, medium and operating state. Provide minimum and maximum inlet and outlet pressure; do not use the highest family pressure as the rating for every size or medium. - FAQ How do I read the 2WB model code?
Example: 2WB160-10-V-S-DC24V-NPT means 304 stainless steel body, 16mm orifice, 3/8" port, FKM seal, square IP65 coil, DC24V, NPT thread. Contact us for help selecting the right code. - FAQ Can you support OEM or custom requirements?
Send the requirement that the catalog configuration does not meet, with a drawing and operating conditions. Custom scope, document availability, sample lead time and commercial terms need confirmation in the quotation.
